The Salon Fluvial is a major event in the life of the town of Saint-Jean-de-Losne. First river port in France, energized by its socio-professional fabric historically turned towards the Saône, it was obvious that Saint-Jean welcomes such an event.
Meeting point for local authorities, professionals in the sector and tourism for amateurs and lovers of the Saône and rivers in general; this show is the ideal opportunity to meet, get together and discuss what makes the image of our territory: the Saône.
A true highlight of the know-how of professionals in this field, the show integrates the strategy of the River Territory Charter, signed in April 2021. An innovative tool, its objective is to develop and promote the river sector in all its aspects and Saint-Jean-de-Losne will be the figurehead. The 2022 Salon Fluvial will reflect this collaboration between all the partners in the sector: municipalities, communities of municipalities, department, region, professionals and amateurs of river tourism.

For many years, Saint-Jean-de-Losne has been the major crossing point of inland waterway boaters. Located at a junction of different waterways, the local professionals managed to make the transition form the cargo barge activity to pleasure boat tourism.
The grouping of municipalities “Rives de Saône” and the municipality of Saint-Jean-de-Losne have joined forces to foster the synergy in between the professionals, the non-profit organizations, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the local communities nearby in order to make this boatshow a convivial rendez-vous for inland waterways tourism.

The Waterways world meets in Saint-Jean-de-Losne
Located at a junction of European waterways, Saint-Jean-de-Losne is the essential reference for national and international tourism on rivers and canals – for boating professionals, boat lovers, and the general public.
